We would like to extend a warm welcome to you and your family at Tittensor First School. Our school works together with the children's best interests at heart and everything we do is underpinned through our school ethos, our Christian values and is evident in our daily practice.
We are proud of our welcoming, happy school and we are enthusiastically supported by parents, families, governors and the Tittensor Community. We aim to be at the heart of this community and to prepare our pupils to become responsible, confident citizens of the future. We wish to encourage children to develop a passion for learning.
The bible story of the Good Samaritan and the Prodigal Son are key stories that we explore our Christian Values of friendship, compassion, trust, creation, service and forgiveness through. We develop pupils to be truly proud of and uphold these Christian Values.
At Tittensor Church of England First School we aim to achieve high standards of teaching and learning in a positive, Christian environment that encourages high levels of resilience, self- esteem and independence, ensuring our children have opportunity and are educated for the ever changing world in which we live. We welcome children irrespective of gender, religion, race or special care. We aim to provide an enriched curriculum which promotes curiosity, teaches children to care for their own health, an understanding of how to keep our environment safe and know how to have respect for the community locally, nationally and globally. All of this is built on the foundation of Christian Values and strong links with the church and the community. Our agreed set of Christian values underpins all that we do. We celebrate our Christian heritage.
If you would like to find out more, or visit the school, we would be delighted to hear from you.
